Bifold doors are extremely easy to use, but you will need an initial demonstration. The lead door always needs to be secured against a panel catch when the bifold door is fully opened or being closed. Issues with bifold doors are usually caused by misuse and incorrect operation. This is why we’ll always demo how to use them when installation is complete and provide clear instructions about operation and maintenance.
Our bifold doors boast a multi point locking system on the master door and steel locking rods within intermediate panels. All of the opening functions are concealed within the doors themselves and we use only the best rated security mechanisms as standard. If security is a concern, there is also the option of reflective or laminated glass which is the police’s preferred specification for crime prevention.
